Software Testing Engineer

Desired Profile :

Oak Systems is a 12 years old specialist software testing / QA company based in Bengaluru & Pune. We have openings for freshers and the candidates must possess following skills-

* ONLY BE / MTech ( E&C, CS and EEE) with 70% aggregate and above are eligible.
* Strong skills in C / C++

a) Should have thorough knowledge in all aspects like pointers, structures, unions, processors etc...in case of "C" language, Object oriented concepts in case of C++ and also in the implementation matters of each aspect. Should also be able to answer in "What happens when/If" mode.

b) Should clearly be able to write small programs (with minimum code to achieve the results) like calculating factorial of a number using recursion method, finding median of 3 numbers, finding whether a number is prime number or not, finding whether a word is a palindrome etc....

c) Should clearly tell the interpretation of each statement in the program in terms of why a particular construct is used, how it is used etc....

d) Should clearly know the difference between C/C++ and also know what are the considerations that are kept in mind when a choice is to be made between C and C++

* Strong in important subjects in the branch studied. Should be able to select Favorite subject and answer questions in the same.
* Should be able to explain in depth everything mentioned in the CV (including Academic projects)
* Must be confident to become productive as the selected engineer will be deployed into the project almost immediately.
* Stipend/salary will start from 8K and will be increased after 6 months. For MTech's, one increment will be considered
* Selected candidates must sign service agreement for a period of 1.5 years
* We have 10 open positions to be filled
